M I S S I O N

Janusz Korczak Youth Culture and Education Center “Dom Harcerza” in Zielona Góra is a meeting place for young people, for whom teachers open various labs so that they can develop their talents in a friendly atmosphere.

V I S I O N

We create favorable conditions for the development of young people by:

shaping aesthetic sensibility,
enabling the acquisition of specific skills in the fields of art and science selected by the participant,
educating a creative person,
motivating self-development, self-acceptance, strengthening the positive qualities of the participant,
developing the features necessary in the modern, rapidly changing world,
shaping the sense of one's own identity and respect for the cultural heritage of the region, country and other cultures,
preparation for active participation in cultural life,
spreading technical knowledge and culture.

We help young people find themselves in the surrounding reality:

working with children, we implement the principles of democracy,
we integrate children and youth of various backgrounds,
we work individually with especially gifted children,
we care for children with disabilities,
we create opportunities to participate in competitions, exhibitions, reviews, festivals, tours, contests, tournaments, international projects and other activity forms of the institution,
in educational activities, we aim to eliminate the risks of pathologies,
we work towards integration with the family, school and institutional environment.

We achieve success in artistic and educational activities thanks to:

a team of educated and creative teachers who, through continuous training, implement modern programs tailored to the current needs of a modern young person,
an attractive educational offer carried out in studios with professional equipment,
offering and organizing free extracurricular activities for children and youth from kindergartens, primary and secondary schools as well as young adults,
a modern building in which the institution is located, a place ensuring safety and the possibility of implementing even the craziest ideas of participants of the classes.
